Dragoon Creek Motocross Park will host Robbie Skaggs Motocross School on Saturday July 13th. This will be an all day school, and the fee is $225 per rider. Robbie is an ex pro supercross / outdoor national ama rider who also has 11 amateur national titles in his resume. Three of which came from Loretta Lynn's where he participated 10 years with multiple top ten finishes. He also was on the podium three time in supercross. Due to rain today we are cancelling practice for Wednesday June 5th. We are going to have practice Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. The track will open at 9am all three days. Thank you.

Dragoon Creek Motocross will be open the following days in June for practice (weather permitting): Wednesdays--June 5, 12, 19 & 26 track will open at noon. Saturday & Sunday--June 8 & 9, 22 & 23 track will open at 9am. Remaining race dates for the month are: June 16, & 30. Both days are NMA Qualifiers for Grand National in Norman, Ok. The track will open both Sat & Sun at 9am this weekend for practice. Should be a good weekend for a change. Also, CBS is scheduled to broadcast the 450 SX again this weekend. E-mail the station manager for channel 13 to see if they are going to air it (jim.ogle@wibw.com) I sent one already. Next race scheduled for Sunday April 28th.

For those who were disappointed by not being able to watch the 450 SX this past Sunday here is some info on who send an e-mail about it. You can log onto cbs.com and send a message directly to the network. You can also send one to jim.ogle@wibw.com , who I talked to on the phone today and voiced my displeasure. The station themself elected not to air the SX because "scores" of people wanted a double dose of Face the Nation. You need to let cbs and their affiliates know that there are a few motorcycle enthusiasts who would like to view what cbs was offering. As a final measure you can also go to Feld Motorsports website and send them a message as well, they are the promoter for SX and negotiate the deals on who gets to air what. This is your opportunity to voice your opinion directly to the people who make the decisions. I have sent mine, my wife sent hers, and my daughter will send hers as well. Thank you.

Lot's of phone calls, and at this time we are still planning on racing Sunday April 7th. We are aware there is rain in the forecast, but, all indications are NOT UNTIL later in day or early evening. We are canceling the race for Easter Sunday, March 31. Recieved rain during the night, more forcast for this afternoon, and with it being Easter, have made this decision. We are scheduled to race next weekend, Sunday April 7th, Sunflower Series Points. Eight day forecast right now is for a good weekend. Hope to see you then. Thank you

With 3" to 6" of snow forecast, we are cancelling the race scheduled for Sunday March 24th. We are rescheduling this for next weekend, March 31st. Forecast for next weekend looks like Spring will finally be here. Thank you for your support.

We are going to race this weekend on SATURDAY November 10th. Saturday is suppose to be a nice day and then it all changes Saturday nite with rain on Sunday with dropping temperatures Sunday as well. Sorry for the late notice but have been watching the weather all week and had to make sure we had medics as well. We will be doing some prizes during the day for different things (first lap leader etc.). So hope to see you on Saturday November 10th. Thank you for your support.

Starting November 7th, Wednesday practice time will be 12:00pm to 5pm. This is due to the day light savings time change. We are watching the weather closely and will let you know about this weekend (Nov 11th) whether we will be able to race or not. Thank you all for your support .

We will be racing both Saturday (Oct 27) & Sunday (Oct 28), two separate days of racing. Will be a cookout & hay ride Saturday evening. Time depends on when racing is done for the day. Finish from Saturday & Finish from Sunday will be combined for an overall for the weekend. The overall for the two days will recieve a Turkey in each class. Then Sunday we will have the Sunflower Awards Presentation at the Osage City Community Building in Osage City. Time will depend on when the races for Sunday are over. Just a reminder to everyone that we are racing this weekend Sunday August 5th. Thank you for your support. We also want to says congratulations to all those who qualified and attended the NMA Grand National Championship in Norman Oklahoma. Kansas was well represented with Mikey Cleaver won 1 Championship, Tucker Nelson had a 2nd & 3rd, and Boyd Cole had two 3rds when we left the track last Friday. Val Stuerman & Brandon Herschell both struggled (water before the moto & bike issues). It was nice to see all of the families from Kansas helping each other when someone had issues. Thank you all.

Dragoon Motocross is scheduled to race this Sunday June 3rd, Sunflower Points & NMA Qualifier for Norman, Oklahoma. June 17th has also been added as an NMA Qualifier, so two qualifiers remain (you need two in the same region to be qualified for the Grand National Championship at Norman and is also Sunflower Points. June 30th & July 1st are Sunflower Points with Fireworks Display June 30th after the races at dusk. Then we have the Motocross School for July 5th from 9am to 4pm. Reservations are starting to fill up so if you would like to attend the school you need to get your reservations in as soon as you can. This is the opourtunity to have someone work with your rider who has been where they are and where they want to be.
